On the last weekend of September, a diverse team of 19 employees from our Polish-Chinese branch gathered for an integration event in the picturesque seaside town of Kołobrzeg.
The event aimed to foster team spirit, improve communication, and create lasting memories that would strengthen collaboration across borders. Among the attendees was our General Manager, who played an integral role in facilitating the workshops and activities (this team won the quiz competition ☺).
The integration event was thoughtfully planned to include a mix of professional development and leisure activities.
The first part of the day focused on communication workshops, designed to enhance understanding and teamwork between our Polish and Chinese colleagues. These sessions provided valuable insights into the nuances of crosscultural communication, ensuring smoother collaboration moving forward. After the workshops, it was time for some fun and relaxation.
The group headed to the wellness session that allowed everyone to unwind and recharge. The wellness activities included a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, which helped reduce stress and allowed the team to refocus on building strong interpersonal connections.
In the evening, after a wonderfull dinner, the group enjoyed dancing, followed by bowling, where the team split into smaller groups for a friendly competition. The bowling session not only served as a team-building exercise but also offered a chance to relax and bond over shared laughter and moments of triumph.
The next morning, we took advantage of Kołobrzeg’s beautiful location by going for a peaceful walk along the Baltic Sea. The fresh air, scenic views, and the sound of the waves created the perfect environment for informal conversations and reflection (and milions of pictures!). We concluded our seaside stroll with a stop for ice cream, a simple yet enjoyable treat that everyone appreciated.
This integration event not only strengthened relationships within the team but also underscored the importance of open communication and mutual respect in a multicultural work environment.
By combining workshops, leisure activities, and shared experiences, we successfully achieved our goal of creating a more cohesive, collaborative team ready to take on future challenges together.
